| Day's Summary: Bright Angel hike to Indian Garden. Overnight: Bright Angel Lodge. |

I had hoped to get a really nice video of a Grand Canyon sunrise, but it didn't really pan out all that well. I got up pretty early to try to experience a sunrise. That said, being at the Grand Canyon at ANY time during the day is a quite exhilarating experience. This was a stop along the Hermit's Rest Route, but I can't remember exactly where.

Along the Rim Trail, walking to Hopi Point from a stop further away. Lots of breathing and walking. Thus, very exciting.
At 1:15 in the video, excellent sunrise-y view of Hopi Point. Good inner canyon view around 2:00, along with the Colorado River.

Natural gas powered buses. The bus system at the Grand Canyon works pretty well. The buses go everywhere, including (during the summer) to the small town of Tusayan, AZ.

A town right outside the Grand Canyon (around 7 miles or so). The purple route serves Tusayan, but it only runs during summer months.

At one of the shuttle stops in Tusayan, waiting for the bus back to Grand Canyon National Park.

I decided to hike the Bright Angel Trail to the 1.5-mile resthouse. It's just an excellent, amazing hike. This is the beginning of it.

Another view of the same segment of the Bright Angel Trail.

Nearing the 1.5-mile resthouse. Giving the viewers of the video a small taste of Bright Angel Trail hiking.
