On The Way To Hoover Dam

I had forgotten where I videoed this, but I used online maps to finally figure it out. The city on the other side of US 93 is Golden Valley, AZ. Desolate. Awesome. Approximate location: 35.28133, -114.17497

Hoover Dam

On Kingman Wash Access Road, with a good overview of the surroundings. Note that this was before the building of the Hoover Dam Bypass.

Hoover Dam

Dashcam view, driving across Hoover Dam. This was less than 8 years after the terrorist attacks on September 11th. You were required to go through a checkpoint in order to gain access to the road over the dam. In fact, you're still required to go through a checkpoint (although not to go over the bypass) to even get near Hoover Dam.

Lake Mead

Off US 93 near Boulder City, NV, at the Alan Bible Visitor Center. Looking towards Lake Mead.
