At the Peaks of Otter Viewpoint slightly south of the Mills Gap Overlook. That's I-81 near Buchanan, VA.

Near Copper Hill, VA. Need to bring deviled eggs and devil's food cake to this overlook. Probably appropriate foods!

At around 0:52, the business I zoom into (as of this writing) is CT Jamison Precast, Inc. They make septic tanks, manholes, and other concrete products. Interesting! I wonder if the fenced estate nearby is owned by the owner and if the fence is made of concrete! :)

Had to avoid some other closed parts of the Parkway. This is south of Galax, VA, crossing the West Fork Chestnut Creek and entering North Carolina.

I mention that most of the Parkway was closed in Virginia and the NPS information didn't really reflect that. Always be prepared to take detours on road trips. Perhaps that's the moral of the story, even when the ROAD is the TRIP itself!

The overlook is Fox Hunters Paradise overlook, though it's not signed.

Beautiful view! No foxes to be seen...though I do spot a tree farm that's as of this writing still off of Carson Creek Road near Lowgap, NC.
