I-40: Strawberry Plains Pike

Headed to Staunton, VA. In a Jeep Commander rental car. Slipstreaming to save gas mileage, although probably not saving all that much.

I-40: Exit 407 to Gatlinburg

Speaking of touristy locations, I need to visit Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg again someday! Haven't been there in decades!

I-81: Near Baileyton, TN

Approaching exit 36. Been on the road for 3.5 hours from Chattanooga, 12:45 PM. Gas prices $2.65 per gallon, good price?

I-81 & I-26

Exit 57 to Johnson City and Kingsport.

I-81: Near Exit 74

Near the TN/VA border and passing the Bristol Regional Medical Center.

I-81: Near Exit 50

Roanoke in 101 miles. Noticing a lot of snow, and that will become more of an issue as the trip proceeds!

I-81: Mountain Empire Airport (MKJ)

Small airport right by the freeway. Pretty neat. Around mile marker 55/56. Runways look clear, which is good to know! :)

I-81: Near Exit 162

Around 4:15PM, passing a pipe truck! Nice to see a Blue Ridge Parkway sign.
