Hoover Dam Dashcam view, driving across Hoover Dam. This was less than 8 years after the terrorist attacks on September 11th. You were required to go through a checkpoint in order to gain access to the road over the dam. In fact, you're still required to go through a checkpoint (although not to go over the bypass) to even get near Hoover Dam. |
